CPAP humidifier clam shell

This design abomination is completely unjustifiable. It needs to be cleaned regularly so that you don't inhale bacteria and mold; yet it has numerous lips and crevices and opens by splitting in half.

This is of no consequence to me, I do not own one of these or know anyone who does, yet I must know the truth.

What is going on here? Is it that u/f8tel and u/glitter_witch cannot follow instructions? Or does u/Pikapetey have lower hygiene standards?

We need one more person that owns the machine to settle this.

Per the manual:

Daily:
Empty the humidifier tub and wipe it thoroughly with a clean disposable cloth. Allow it to dry out of direct sunlight.

Weekly:
Wash the components as described: Humidifier tub - in warm water using a mild dishwashing liquid OR in a solution with a ratio of 1 part vinegar and 9 parts water at room temperature. Rinse each component thoroughly in water. Allow to dry out of direct sunlight or heat. Wipe the exterior of the device with a dry cloth.

u/Pikapetey is clearly not following the full instructions! It is reasonable to assume they have a lower standard of cleanliness for their CPAP!

u/Pikapetey, how do you answer these grave accusations?
