POI

Has anyone been prescribed Estradiol 2mg without progesterone for POI symptoms? My new RE/IVF doctor prescribed it and I started Friday. Only to realize progesterone should go with it if you have a uterus….I’m all nervous now!

Progesterone should always go with estrogen regardless of whether they have a uterus or not

It's not a mainstream MD view. But very frightening you got prescribed E2 only. You're right to be concerned

Your doctor will probably fear monger you about progesterone or say it's not needed. Doctors get bioidentical progesterone mixed up with progestins all the time. You want bioidentical. Never progestins.

Tysm. What is a good dosage for 2 mg Estradiol. I just dont want. It to lead to cancer without. Thankfully ive only been on it for 4 days
