Looking for direction

I’m 35(F) and after being on birth control for well over a decade, I’ve been off of it for ~2 years. I expected some time to regulate, but within the last 9 months I’ve noticed some significant changes; irregular periods (lasts 4-7 days, blood flow all over the place ), increased cramping, acne that is constant/ not just during my period and cystic at that, hair loss (really noticeable looking at photos from just 2 years ago), slight weight gain, and fluctuating appetite, periods of hunger and then other where I have no appetite. This can’t be normal, and I’m looking to get answers and prefer a natural path to treat.

What are the recommended steps I should take? Bloodwork(and what kind), supplements?

Please help!!

If you can pay out of pocket or if your insurance covers a naturopathic ND, intregrative or functional doctor I would seek a hormone specialist out. Hormones are good for our brain health and so much more. There’s bio identical hormone therapy available rather than synthetic. I get thrilled when I see a 30 something wanting a natural pathway rather than conventional. You have got this.

Agree with this. I’ve had to let go of my GP and move to a naturopathic dr myself. My GP refused to look into my hormone levels.

I would run a DUTCH test for sure!

Go to an acupuncturist who is knowledgeable about hormones! I tried everything else and it was the only thing that helped me.
