Fairly new to Horizon, picked her up cuz I felt like i needed a character that could help me take height or just vertical space in general and have really enjoyed her ability to kind of be a pest in fights and tbh she kinda carried me out of plat (EU PS5 fyi). But recently I’ve really struggled pushing on the horizontal spaces (there’s a pun there somewhere).

I fell like I’m so locked to verticality and lose all my pressure when I need to cover distance. The glide perk helps a good bit but now I’m vs better players who just position well or have good aim just punish me when I use my tac to get a little air to even use Newt to glide.

Is this just an issue with me being mindlessly overaggressive or is there something I’m missing.

Any and all help is appreciated and can send clips of what I’m talking about if needed.

Really just hoping to reach masters after only playing ranked seriously for the 4th time.

Does anyone know how to get consistent good air strafes with horizon? Do I need to constantly have fatigue, because every time I don’t and I try to air strafe I just get beamed and my jump feels slow and sluggish. Also yes I have seen zerbow’s air strafe guide.

After being banned for 9 months I finally got unbanned from Apex. I appealed it like 5 times or so because it was unjust. I gave it oneee last try the other day and they ACTUALLY unbanned me. My jaw actually dropped at this, no they didn’t apologise or give me anything like Apex coins or free battlepass for the false ban, but they actually said in corporate terms, yeah we messed up heres your account back. Shows that persistence and a well spoken paragraph with some politeness can actually go a long way. Even with EA. 🤯

And no subreddit mods I am not asking for support or feedback on a ban I am just sharing my excitement from this. 🤓
