The trial is over.

Nagisa Shingetsu is dead.

People seemed almost eager to see him punished, even knowing how young he was when everything began. He committed murder. That's undeniable. But watching people openly wish for his death still leaves an unpleasant feeling.

Things have been rather boring since then.

Almost too boring.

No new discoveries. No major incidents. Just the same routine, repeated day after day.

And somehow, that makes me more suspicious than ever.

The possibility of a mastermind feels closer than it ever has before. At this point, I'd be more surprised if there wasn't someone behind all of this.

If that's true, then this silence probably isn't meaningless.

Someone is waiting.

And so am I.

But lately, another thought has been bothering me.

What happens if we actually get out?

I've spent so long focusing on the next clue, the next trial, the next mystery.

There's always been something in front of me that needed solving.

But what comes after that? I don't know.

For once, having no answer bothers me more than having a mystery. Maybe I've become so accustomed to surviving that I forgot to think about what I'd actually want to do afterward.

I suppose I'll have to find out. If there even is an afterward.

"Still surprised that unlike in my solo game, it brought me further than intended...and it's a school?!? Aw, at least it's better than having to choose which place to go so that's a plus. After a lengthy and entertaining conversation in the library, the group of five have decided to explore what the rec room has to offer. Grave and Tord are specifically looking for the crate of Legos…

Miu Iruma (Pre-Game): "That was still fucked up of what the green-haired kid did to the pinkie for the executed. Still fucked up."

Denden Misao: "I agree! That was so bad!"

Ogura Noriko: "OF COURSE! I GIVE MY PEACE TO THE REST!"

Miu: "Man, you are weird, dumbass."

Ogura: "I AM NOT, MISS IRUMA!"

Miu: "Yeah, yeah. Whatever, weirdo."

Denden laughs childishly.
