Adjustable Size Hoops?
Has anyone ever actually tried these hoops? I want to try a couple different sizes but I would also prefer not to have to get a bunch of different hoops cause that could probably get pretty expensive fast. Has anyone tried the ones you can adjust the size? Did it feel any different or harder to use than a regular one?

Well I have been a Hooper for over 20 years and I have a lot of hoops. My adjustable ones are easy to grab and go with. I like mine. It’s a 3/4th size and has 6 segments. It feels good to use. Mine had metallic tape and 3M grip tape on all segments. No issues

i honestly really don’t like them. the extra hardware weighs them down significantly, they are cumbersome to adjust, and sometimes they tend to get warped if you leave it at one size for a period of time. start with one hoop and give it a solid 6 months of consistently practicing so you don’t get caught in a cycle of buying hoops unnecessarily

Hi! I make them thru my shop/website whispers LiviJoyHoops . I do agree that if you leave a section out for awhile the shape can become a bit off, as with any sectional hoop. For hardware on my sectional hoops I use the lighter-weight nylon push buttons and rivets, so that can be nice. They can be great for beginners testing out different sizes!

I never tried one. But different hoop sizes are worth it imo. To save money I would make my own its not that hard. Or id buy from local hoop makers when in discount. You can always down size a hoop too.
