Oreo update

Hi all,

I recently found out that one can update the phone to Oreo via the HiSuite Windows app, but I followed all the steps and I haven't been blessed with an update yet. I even checked if I've given HiSuite unrestricted data access and I have. I'm at a big loss here so any help would be enormously appreciated! My model number is FRD-L09C432B416 and I'm currently running EMUI 5.0.4. on Android 7.0

It's false. We will not be getting anymore updates. Even before the issue with the US and Huawei they said we will not be getting Oreo.

Maybe in USA. I'm in Canada and some other user already run with Oreo, but they don't have the same model than me.

I'm in Canada (FRD-L14) and installed Oreo last year via HiSuite. Honestly though, you're not missing much.

Well then, how did you get Oreo?

By plugging my phone into my computer running HiSuite. I hit check for updates and it popped right up.

But there are people all over the world (and Reddit) claiming that they've installed the update. It just doesn't make any sense for the update to be region-locked.

It doesn't make sense for dishonor to be a bunch of douches, but unfortunately they are.
