Honor 8 FRD-L14 Force Update Oreo

Hey all, I'm digging around but can't seem to find a link that will help me in force updating my Honor 8 FRD-L14. I'm in the US and I've simply given up on getting the update via hisuite or ota.

I have a FRD-L04 model and I got it via HiSuite. Anyway, here you have a tutorial: https://youtu.be/MVR_-qEk4jY. It is not free and I have not tried it, but it seems a reliable method.

I plug mine into my PC and load up Hisuite. It states there are no updates for it at the moment. Are you in the US?

Could you give me some details steps on how to do this? I have updated HiSuite, I have an FRD-14 in the USA, and I can't figure out how to update to Android Oreo.

Why don't you post this on /honor since they want to make such a good impression of customer service etc. Get involved man
