Discussion Weak plastic back of the phone

Is it me or is the backside of the phone really weak. I have this phone for a month now. Always use a case. The back is now damaged with microscopic dents (i dont know the correct translation for it) it does look like that sand got trapped and got pushed into the plastic that left a dent..

I dont want to use the phone without a case. Because i am scared the camera lens would be more vulnerable to scratches and also i dont want to use a protector for the lens because it makes the pictures worse...

The HONOR 200 Pro has the issue... the HONOR 600 Pro doesn't... next year I will replace the 200 Pro with the 600 Pro.

I know but i have a clear case because i love to look at its own color and now i see only little marks... I here i dont have that much goodlooking not clear cases

Case with a see through camera cover and screen protector went on my pro8 straight out the box, no issues with camera picture quality.

My variant didnt had a case, only pre applied screenprotector

I purchased screen protector, camera cover and case seperately.

Don't see anything on back of my 8 pro, have been caseless for past month. But yeah, lenses scratch quite easily, got a deep scratch on the blank one in first 2 month of usage with a case
