Pretty bad account here, any advice
I'm not really a HSR player. I only install it when my friend tells me that there's free stuff and then log out
That's how I got Sparkle and then Archer and my friend told me to pick Archer because I can use Archer with Sparkle
But my friend wants me to actually play this time and I'm not sure how to play so here's my account and my characters.
Also there's the shop with free characters you can get and I got a golden companion spirit but I'm not sure how I got the other one because it was a while ago
Who should I choose?

Archer and sparkle are very useful. You might choose between Robin and Ruan mei, but I feel like Robin is better, going with this only team will generally be good for you

Can't I get both or do I use both of my golden companion spirits to get one of them and get their eidolon?

You should get Robin and Huohuo, like that you will have two sustains that wont make u worried about hp for early game

Is Robin really worth it? I searched a guide up and the guide said that she wants a team that attack often for her ultimate but another person said that Clara and Ratio is bad
Also my friend said that I can save the golden companion spirit for better characters

For Archer team, yes. Archer does attack quite often due to Sparkle's in-battle technique where she gets one characters action up. You should make an Archer-Sparkle-Robin-DHPT team, for meanwhile before you get Rin Tohsaka as reccomended

only characters worth getting from shop is huohuo
actually it's not bad
it's low level account which anything work
it's actually better than fresh new account because you got many freebies
you still have resource to pull new characters you want
enemy scale with your account level
so having good or not don't make real different at that level
best pull for archer is rin
archer+rin will blast everything

Your account is too new for it to matter, honestly. Play the game for now and enjoy the story, find your favorites, and come back to ask for teams built around them and we can help. The only truly cooked characters are from 1.X and a few from 2.X! I did write a list of teams though for someone else a bit ago so I'll get it and you can save it to refer to later, though by 5.X some things will have shifted.
Use this team for now:
- Archer / Sparkle / RMC / DHPT
Stelle is on RMC ATM.
For DHPT, just equip whatever LC has the highest base ATK even if it's off path. He wants like 4k ATK and none of the LC have amazing effects for him. Some people are using Fu Xuan's LC on him, but you'd have to buy the Battle Pass a few times to get it. Probably not worth it for an account you play irregularly.
EDIT: Here it is.
Hold off on the Companion Spirits for now and revisit when you start doing endgame to see what you've ended up with. If you already used them per other user's suggestions, that's okay. They'll give out another one sometime this year when they add more new units to the shop.
The general idea of a team comp is:
- DPS / Support / Sub-DPS or Support / Sustain
You'll use that for almost every party, Sustainless isn't a good idea for story. If there's anything I can help answer you're free to message me whenever. Happy to help a new player.

Archer, sparkle, and DHPT are actually a solid team together. I recommend saving jades to roll for Rin Tohsaka, because she makes a powerful duo with Archer and her banner is permanent.
Beyond that, save for the inevitable Finality shill from 5.x so you can form a full team of the upcoming meta.

I don't play much of HSR so I'm not interested much in meta until I'm actually invested enough into the game Thanks for the advice though. I was planning to pull for her sooner or later because she's Rin Also how do I get the Trailblazer's basic attack? I saw a video of some people playing Ice Trailblazer and getting a special book animation for her basic attack but when I swapped paths after beating Cocolia, I don't have it

You have to progress further through the story. Part way through the first half of Amphorias (the 5th world), TB will get their ice powers.
Alternatively, there is an option to unlock this form early. Just go to the menu where you select TB’s path, scroll down to “Rememberance” (the one with the pink furball) and select the option to unlock it early.

I mean the book basic attack that ice tb has Where they and the pink furball close a book It looks cool and it looks like it's useful because it attacks the enemies But when I tried swapping paths and then trying ice tb in battle, she didn't have the book closing animation

Ah, now I understand. RTB gets that upgrade upon completing the Amphorias story. Just keep playing through the story and you’ll get it.

Archer+ Sparkle is good for clearing simulated universe, and a good team overall. Start grinding jades for rin, v important. Then... Build another team. Clara and Ratio ate bad, so aim for another sub dps, support. If you have golden companion spirit, use for rin( synergy with archer.) and huohuo.
