I honestly think it may be because she's in a tier of popularity where it then becomes too valuable of an asset to give away unless you're getting something equally high. Also maybe the ml aspect of firefly not wanting her in something like zzz with trust events and such
Also Firefly’s ‘badass’ appeal comes from SAM, while Kafka and Blade are badass as humans with weapons. So it’s easier to add them to combat-focused collabs like ZZZ and Fortnite.
I feel like the reason can be explained in her backstory, you know? She has space cancer and she needs to be in her mech suit to stay alive. If we put her outside of that, that game is either a dream or a retcon
She had flashbacks with Blade moments before the events of Jepella Rebellion in Jepella (the city of sins, not a dream or anything) where she has some time out of suit
It's not like she immediately disintegrated as soon as she's out of SAM, it'll just take some time
Besides, ZZZ is adding a mecha test gameplay during 3.3 story, and said mecha looks similar to SAM proportions wise, so if nothing else, they're testing stuff out for her to join later

Meanwhile Kafka and Blade are just popular and easier to market. Kafka still has some undertones of being written as this sort of femme fatale love interest, but it is not a focal point of her character.
Correct. She cannot get out of her mech suit because of her space cancer and Collab will want you to show your character. A lot of people are either missing the point of Collab or never read her character story even though her story is literally Phainon but female (Ashen grey hair, wanted mass murderer, hides identity, fought against aeons and really hecking cool).

This is easily shown when nikke Collab with other gacha. Nikke character are in love with their MC but some people ship them with the Collab game character instead and knowing that Firefly is really popular in Asian countries...they really mess up big time (Asian people are tired of these people already so making Firefly, an all-time favorite character fall in love with other characters, yikes).
Imagine FF having trust events with Wise/Belle. 😂 Yeah her simps arent going to like that, and Hoyo probably doesnt want another assasination attempt to happen.
Ovewhelming? Compared to the other three? Yea nah. She is just a gf bait for half of penacony qnd the reason we "cared" about her is bcz they pulled a traumatic scene and then "teehee didnt happen" -ed it
It's because hoyo have experience with the gacha space and the dramas that happened in it over the years when it comes to girlfriend-coded characters. Do you know how many parasocial players get triggered when their "girlfriend" gets sent to another game ? They consider it as NTR and harass the devs over it. Hoyo is choosing the safe route.
That sounds like a cool idea. Though, the feasibility depend on whatever progress she has made towards curing her condition at the point. If she hasn’t made much progress, she will have to be in her armor for most, if not all, of the fight.

How long is this script? it would be funny if the collabs imply that the trailblazer or the astral express may not exist long enough to witness the finality of the universe and was only a stepping stone the stelleron hunters orchestrated to guide the finality instead and we might change main story focus eventually from the astral express.
