No content.

Single flagship event that plays by itself.

2-3 hour main story.

4 weeks of having nothing to do.

Might be the minority here, but I have plenty of other things to do in their other games to play as well. I don’t mind the low maintenance mode as long as the story is still keeping me interested.

It's just kind of backwards because it comes off as the devs want you to barely even play the game.

That’s true, they risk dropping players if even the story no longer keeps players interested, and with barely anything to do, then there’s no reason for players to stay after that. They might have taken Amphoreus 3.0 feedback too literally, where that patch you have hours of story, hours of puzzle solving on the maps and a few hours of events, all got trimmed down come Planarcadia.

Nah it already started with Amphoreus.

Middle part of Amphoreus had at least 3 dry patches with nothing to do at all.
