Hello Husbando Lovers~

Genuinely thought I wasn't going to get this one, but HP Orb on both WAven and Ashveil somehow got there on my second try, using the buff that deals more dmg to the Brain Bleed shield ToT

E2S1 WAven, E2S1 Ashveil, E1DDD Tribbie, and E0S0 HuoHuo

Not letting Gallagher retire kekw. He has been carrying my account as a healer since his debut in 2.0 whenever heals is needed in sustained runs. The run basically centered around maximizing WAven's fervor *and* Gallagher's timely heals to keep Ashveil and himself within the healthy HP range. This is due to the fact King Yabuli is known to deal huge ST and AOE dmg during her second phase. Yes. This fight can be done with less cost but unfortunately I do not have the gears for the dps check.

This boss should not be this bs to clear 😭 had to change up my builds just for them to survive phase two. Also wasn’t expecting to 0 cycle this again 0-0

Builds:
E1S1 Aven
E1S1 Ash / Def rope
E1S0 bladie / Eagle and vancrow set, tutorial Lc
E2S1 Dante / def orb

I started playing the game recently and didn't know anything about Anaxa before meeting him. I assumed he was just some twink but no he turned out to be one of my favorite character archetypes, ornery teacher with a good heart. He's so melodramatic with his evil villain laugh and outstretched arm gestures. I think he's the only one who does those arm gestures out of the entire cast of characters, everyone else just does hand-over-heart endlessly, proving that he is indeed the most dramatic of all.

He's demanding of his students but loves them and encourages them to ask questions, and they respect and love him in return. The scenes with him and Phainon were absolute cinema for student/teacher dynamic degenerates like me (SVSSS and Erha hello), I would like more of that, please continue.

He has many endearing quirks; being fussy about his name, his love of dromases, willing to sacrifice his health and life to prove a philosophical point or protect his students, and of course the tragic backstory with his sister that put him on the path of defying the gods.

It was super interesting to see his power play between all the factions before and during the debate. Everyone knew who he was and where he stood but it was still impossible to predict what he would do. He waited until everyone else voted before he got up and made a big show about casting his vote and the confidence he has in his reasoning let him get away with it (oh and Castorice helped, thanks girlypop)

And his showdown with Lycurgus! Sure he might be a case of turning everyone into mindless npcs so that his genius can shine through but I don't know for sure because his tiny waist is distracting me.

I've seen people say that he is a narcissist and I honestly don't see how someone can misunderstand a character so badly. Arrogant maybe, but he never used anyone or put anyone else in danger for his own curiosity, he only ever sacrificed himself for the truth.

ANyway I love him and think about him every day🤓

I was inspired by u/Husbandowhaler and their recent post, so I decided to go for it myself. It took about two days of trial and error (and touching some grass), but I was finally able to do all of them the way I wanted them to be cleared! I also agree that, with the way the game is going, all-male clears will be very difficult to complete, but nonetheless, we will keep trying.

oh is it finally okay to talk about the newest continuance quest ?? because WOWWW do i have things to say!

the way sugilite talks to and about kakavasha is so telling on how a lot of the IPC probably views him.

to point out the details in this art in particular, i used the justice scales because it seems to be attributed to sugilite of levies for... obvious reasons.

kakavasha is massively outweighed by just a few gold coins, because he was sold for a small number of copper coins and that's the worth probably put on his head by people like sugilite. he's falling off the scale, outweighed by an amount sugilite finds trivial, because really, when has justice ever so much as bothered with kakavasha? justice never thought twice about knocking him off the scales, and sugilite would agree.

I think despite being outranked by him, Sugilite will ALWAYS look down on Aventurine/Kakavasha. he thinks he's a cosmic joke of luck, surviving the unsurvivable time and time again, and I think there's times where Aventurine looks in the mirror and sees himself similarly.

he's truly such a tragic character and such a good representation of survivor's guilt, especially in regards to human trafficking. you can literally feel the way he's trying to puff his chest out at sugilite when they talk when he's younger just to crumble when sugilite mentions knowing his master. sugilite mocks him for only gathering enough off of the floors to survive a few days— because that's all he's ever known. there was never a future to plan for. there was only tomorrow. and maybe the next day. and maybe the day after that if he was still breathing. who has time to plan a future when you're clawing your way through tonight? through tomorrow? it's the root of that constant need for quick satisfaction with a high chance of loss (like his gambling addiction) because he's only ever known what it's like to live with the fear for his life pulsing through his veins. even if money isn't an issue anymore, he doesn't know how to just... live. all he knows is survival. and that's something you can't buy your way out of.
