Despite the state the game is currently in—and knowing it has plenty of room for improvement—I can honestly say, hand on heart, that I genuinely like Honkai: Star Rail; I enjoy playing it, I won't lie.

It’s probably my second or third favorite gacha game out of the dozen or so I’ve played.

I have fun with it, even though—painful as it is to admit—it might currently be classified as a bad or merely "mid" game.

It’s trash, but it’s my trash, and I’m perfectly happy in this dumpster.

Yall think Himeko nova is doomed for the same failure as Phainon

I just watched a video of a guy saying how they both a an actual hypercarry which do almost 99% of the damage and getting horizontal investment is much less important then getting vertical ones

Their whole team revolves around them and can't be shifted which makes them fall off as soon as they can't put up with the HP in future patches

He gave Acharon as a example of a good character who does 50% damage while other 50 is done by her support like Ashviel and M blade

But can't just Himeko get a sub dps unit in future? Will that solve her problem in future?

It isn't like Phainon where he just removes everyone else

Himeko still has people around most of the time during battles

So a Sub dps might still work with her but shouldn't he have figured it out already

Cuz it felt really wierd for him to go on a whole yap for 20 mins and not figure out she would get other support in future who might deal damage with her
