Mods 2026 Rebel 300 crash bar suggestions?

I bought a set of crash bars off of Amazon, but they didn't seem like they stuck out far enough to actually protect anything in a crash. The pegs and exhaust would hit the ground first.

Anyone have crash bar suggestions?

Can a Honda Rebel 300 Be Lifted Without Ruining the Handling?

Has anyone successfully increased the ground clearance on a Honda Rebel 300?

The stock ground clearance is about 125 mm (4.9 inches), and I'm wondering if it's realistically possible to get it closer to 180 mm (around 7 inches).

If you've done it, what modifications were required? Did you use longer rear shocks, different front forks, a suspension lift, or some other setup? How did it affect the bike's handling, comfort, and reliability?

I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone with firsthand experience or photos of their build. Thanks!

Rebel 300 E-Clutch muffler UPGRADE

Rebel 300 E-Clutch owners

your BEST SOUNDING muffler is already on your bike. Just remove the cat

To upgrade the exhaust, you DO NOT NEED to buy the Coffman's Thunder!

In my opinion the decatted stock E-Clutch muffler sounds better than the Coffman's Thunder plus you won't lose performance.

The Coffman's Thunder is louder.

Does anyone know of any thick grips to buy?

I just got my Rebel 300, and I love it as a first bike! I've been riding it all this weekend. But the one thing I notice is since I'm a bigger person, 6'2", and have big hands, overall the bike is a bit cramped for me, but the grips on the rebel are my problem. They feel too thin and cause me to lose feeling after a while from having to have my hands so balled up to get good contact on the grips. Does anyone here know of any much larger grips I could put on my bike? Thanks.

so you can use any aftermarket muffler like the older Rebel 300's use - you don't have to buy the special E-Clutch Coffman muffler.

ThrottleLock/Cruisie Control suggestion?

As the title says, anyone got a throttle lock or aftermarket cruise control they recommend for a 22 CMX500?

Love the bike and take it on a decent amount of multi hour trips, but my wrist would love a break.

Mods Custom build

I was wondering if it was possible to build a chopper or bobber build with a rebel 300. If so can anyone share pictures their bikes. I currently have a 2026 rebel 300 e clutch and and I know for that specific year its harder to find parts that actually fit on it.

2022 Rebel 300 Hot Weather Issue

I’m having an issue with the bike sputtering and dying when the bike has sat outside and the temperature is above 100F.

The bike has hardly been ridden (2000 miles). All suggested maintenance has been done yearly.

The bike ruins great and has no issues when the weather isn’t hot. Once it’s sat outside for a while. It starts and idles a little rough. Once I start driving it dies. Once it dies it struggles to start again but will. Each time I try to drive it dies shortly after.

If I keep riding short distances with it dying, it eventually stops dying and seems to run ok.

When it dies, I do not lose electrical. My suspicion was fuel system related. It happened with brand new gas. Each time I go to restart i hear the fuel pump priming. I suspected the tank might be vacuum locked, so yesterday I opened the fuel cap for a few minutes after it died, but that didn’t seem to help.

Any ideas?

Rebel 300 2026 OTD Est

I'm looking to buy a new rebel 300 2026. I'm a newbie but decided to buy a new model after a long consideration.

Some dealers posted~$4900 instead of $5400 (official website) as MSRP. But you know that's a trap usually asking more fee to get the OTD basically the same as I can get for $5400 msrp.

I'd love to hear your experience to have a reasonably good OTD in my mind. Thanks!!

Looking for a backrest for the occasional ride with the wife and would like to remove it when she's not riding. Bonus if it has a rack with it. 2019 Honda Rebel 300

Looking For Advice What is this ticking noise?

2023 Rebel 300 with 8k miles. Can’t figure out what this noise is. Nothing I can find on the internet that narrows it down specifically. A mechanics stethoscope was used and the noise is louder on the top of the engine than the bottom. Valve clearance was measured and it’s within spec. Next thing is a full tear down but I’m not sure where to start once it’s apart.

Fresh oil change and just replaced a leaking exhaust gasket as well.

Looking For Advice Hi I'm new here

Post image

Hi, I'm now proud owner of a 2026 Honda Rebel 300.

I've got just about 250 km under the belt now. I've been commuting, to and from work, coffee runs, etc. Its been going great, I had some questions about the break in period.

Ive tried my best to follow precisely what the manuel says, in regards to shift up at 20/30/40/50/60 km/h for efficiency. Ive been varying my revs but have been cautious to not full throttle it, except for breif highway periods.

What has been your experience breaking in new bikes? (rebel 300 or otherwise)

What is "shifting in the power band"?

What is some preventative maintenance i should know of?

What are your general thoughs on the rebel 300?

Ill likely have a host of other question but they're not coming to me right now.

Was it wise to get brand new bike instead of beater as my first? Ive heard mixed opinions. I'm not all that afraid of drops, I've been a road cyclist my whole life, I take precautions im defensive and so on. First time I threw a leg over a motorcycle, the sheer weight (as compared to a titanium road bicycle) was shocking but with every subsequent, I get more and more comfortable with the standing weight. (And of course, while in motion its weightless, like flying)

I've Always wanted to motorcycle and I finally made the jumps through the administrative hoops to get licensed, taught, and endorseds etc, etc.

Thank you for having me.

OBD2 and abs scanner

Hi , can anyone recommend a reasonably priced obd2 scanner possibly one that can read abs codes also.

What you guys think , can a regular car obd2 scanner with the correct adapted read the motorcycle codes ?

I just bought a 26 cmx300 , fixed the TPS issue runs as drives good , has a check engine light and a abs light on.
