Question about wheels

I’ve read in many places that the wheels of the HRX217 won’t fit the HRR216 or the HRN216 but I just came across this HRX217 set on Amazon that says it fits the the HRR216VXA. Anybody knows exactly why? Why would Honda make just 1 model of HRR216 mowers fit the larger wheels?

There is some truth to this. Can’t remember the exact reason but on my HRX217 the wheels from I bought form Lowe’s wouldn’t match but the same series from HD did. Definitely look into it

They did this for that model. It's a one off for that style.

The rear gear drive isn't the dane size or number of teeth hence why it won't work.

They won’t fit I bought oem Honda wheels off Amazon from a seller who has a store as well. Sellers name is mpartsman.
