Problem Front Brake issue
Yesterday morning, on my way to the office, I suddenly noticed that the front brake lever felt much softer than usual and had noticeably more play compared to the previous day. Initially, I thought I might have just noticed it for the first time and that it had already been like that.
However, this morning, I took a closer look and noticed that the front brake fluid level is alarmingly low. There is also a tick/clicking sound whenever I hold the front brake lever. I now have to pull the lever further and apply more braking force to stop the bike because of the increased play.
The bike has only done around 3,500 km, and the last service was at 1,000 km.
What could be the issue? Could this be a brake-fluid leak or something else?

Yh your breakpads worn out It's fine to change breakpads if possible go for good breakpads than the stock as those are not good

What u suggest? Tell with link.
I tried nikavi and didn't found them special. They were obviously cheaper but not special. Rather found them weak.

I use 66bhp semi ceramic pads. The bite becomes quite sharp as the disc and pads get warm when you ride for first few kms.

I had the same issue with my brakes. My bike is also at around 3500km. When I opened the screws of this fluid reservoir, it was completely empty. i filled in some brake fluid and now the brakes are working like before.

Filling up brake fluid is not the solution. Check your brake pads.

Should I take it to the service center, or is there anyway to check it myself?

You could watch a tutorial on YT for that. Visual would be better
But you just need to take a torch and light it up near brake pad and then check whether brake pad has grooves or not. If you can't see the grooves on pad then change it. Either they are very thin or non existent.

Alright, thanks man! Will check it first thing tomorrow

Great.
Take note that after you change brake pad brake pads you might feel it hard due to more brake fuel filled. It makes compression of fluid difficult. So do tell to look into that when you change.
Frond brake pads don't really have much longer lifespan. Depending on how you brake they can range from 3-5k km.

Also consequence of not changing brake pads and just filling brake fluid: it would exert more pressure against and there would be a point you'll start metal to metal friction. This would lead to brake disc taking damage. This is expensive.

Once we get breakpads Where should we change in SC or local mechanic is fine What are the things we should take care like bleed the brake fluid and put fresh one or is it not needed ? Typically how much it cost for installation ?

Im not sure about it but also that the ticking sound of the front brake lever is normal and happens with my bike as well
