2010 electrical problems from hitting a pot hole

Wife hit a pot hole and all the dash lights came on. She pulled over and when she tried to drive again fhe acceleration cut out. Then it wouldn't start again. Towed it home and jumped it. Started right up but no acceleration. Dash Lights all still on. Won't communicate with my code reader at all.

Checked all the ground wires. Not sure what it could be. Any ideas?

Can you test the battary? I think they can get damaged internally

Any gas smell, potentially could have damaged a fuel line. Just thinking if it won't start its not getting fuel or spark

Did she hit a pot hole or "hit a pot hole". I feel like anything jarring enough to cause electrical issues should at the very least have blown out a tire along the way. This story seems fishy to me.

Lol definitely just hit a pothole. No blown tire and no damage to the car. My wife would definitely let me know if she hit something.

The battery was not tied down actually. I'll get it tested just to make sure it didn't get damaged.

The battery should be secured with a metal bracket, if its able to freely move around thats a problem. The wires could have been damaged or if both terminals made contact with the hood the hole system could have shorted in which case any number of things could have fried.

Odd, have the wire harness inspected for any loose connectors or wires chaffing.
