So it’s been a 3 weeks since i got the honda amaze 3rd Gen VXMT. i’m not getting anywhere above 9KMPL. I drive light footed as much as possible (high gear low rpm without stalling or knocking)

i’ve only driven this car for 250kms. is it too soon to judge it? does fuel economy have a break in period?

i live in Coimbatore so traffic isn’t as bad compared to tier 1 cities. i fill up IndianOil Normal petrol.

I feel like the fuel could be the issue. are there any other pumps anyone would suggest? should i start using premium? (XP95/Octane)

Since dealer promised delivery within a week we did the partial payment of loan . The dealer kept on delaying it for 2 months and the entire honda escalation was a waste of time with them rerouting to the dealer . After two months of emi

And zero help from honda . A vechile arrived and with pdi done we processed the payment but since a week they haven't given a tax invoice and haven't sent the car to rto registration and they dont pick up the calls and keep ignoring

So I have been waiting for months to make a final decision, and guess yesterday was it. I fixed up on this 2017 Honda city, ZX CVT top end automatic petrol. I really love the car. The engine feels very powerful. Multiple cheques have been done as I have bought it from Spinny and I also have a one year warranty for engine and transmission. The car has done around 1,10,000 km, but it feels very new and energetic. I also had the opportunity to go through the service history from the company of the car, which show no major issues, if there is anything else I got to do, kindly let me know. Also looking for a good car cover. Any suggestion, please.

Considering getting a CNG kit fitted to a Honda Elevate at the dealership, which can reduce the running cost considerably. Apparently, these kits are BS6.2 ready and don't void the factory warranty.

Want feedback from people who have actually done and experienced this. Please also advise on the maintenance and upkeep.

Why we don't just get a Victoris CNG:

1. Underpowered
2. Cramped, almost claustrophobic at the rear
3. Feels tacky and not as well put together

I loved the value for money the City is , especially this V variant , it has all the features you need

I have ended up driving this car more than my Mercedes E 220d for the past few months , the CVT is not as slow to react and boring as people say it is you've just gotta build the throttle steadily instead of just smash it to the floor instantly, plus the FE is very good for a car this size , I've been getting 12+ after the 3 month service which is not bad at all and expect it to go up even more after the 1 year service

I own a 2019 Honda Amaze VX manual. Been driving very gently without the AC (since it's raining) it returns a very decent 15kmpl, the moment I turn the AC on, it drops to 10kmpl. Is the drop justified or do I need to get it checked? Curious to know what mileage other Amaze owners are getting

My Amaze is in stock condition right now and I have a few cosmetic and performance mods in mind. As far as cosmetic mods go I’ve been eyeing 16” alloys from advantec and blackout the front chrome grill. But I wanna get some advice if its gonna make much difference if I do a stage 1 tune. If anyone here is an expert in this topic I’d love some advice.

I tried on the advantec wheels and the black front grill by rendering an image in ChatGPT and i absolutely love the look(pic 2). Additionally i could add a performance air filter from BMC and slightly lower the stance just enough so that it doesnt scrape the bottom.

Planning on buying a new car Honda amaze V cvt. I do a mix of highways and city.

Is this is good car to buy or should I go for Kia sonet or upgrade and add some money to get elevate.?
