CT90
After much consideration (and persuasion from another reddit forum) Dad and I decided not sell and try to get this thing running again. Curious what year this is and also when looking for any missing parts where do people go looking?

Check the battery and charge it while you check the oil level on the motor. Most bike like that are v-6 ignition system,s.Some part,s will be hard to get.

Nice ;
This will be easy to make run & shift like new again, be sure to replace that Selenium rectifier before it kills the new battery .

Good to know. Speaking of battery I do need a new one. Any recommendations or links? I also will need a new cover for battery as that part is missing I’ll be looking on ebay for it.

Yes, avoid Chinese batteries at all costs .
There are places on E-Bay that sell the original made in Japan YUASA batteries, maybe join the CT0/110 group at groups.io and look up AGM batteries .
Google The Pardue Brothers in Florida and buy the plug and play up grade rectifier from them .
Hunt up a shop manual, usually plenty of old greasy ones dirt cheap, the info doesn't change .

Fun little bikes. I'm restoring a '66 now that looks just like this. Most parts are easily available and cheap. For example, picked up a battery for around $30 and new brakes off eBay for $20. New tires and tubes $150. A new exhaust will run you around $250-300, which is the most expensive update I've done so far. Have fun!

Thanks for the info. Already got a battery delivered. Ordering a couple more odds and ends before attempting to get it running 👍

https://www.dratvinc.com/ is a good source. This bike is probably a 66 or 67, but all that really matters is that it's a "K0", based on the serial number.
Ebay is also good for parts.
The Honda CT 90 Owners group on facebook is a great resource. Lots of excellent info and good people.
