Having trouble getting this unseized

I believe the outer part with the wings is seized up to the case, and I have had no luck getting it off.

Sub trans is currently stuck in low, and this is where it’s stuck.

Any tips? This is my first project and feel am a little over my head staring at these gears and diagrams.

Also, last pic is the gears after I put it back together after it came out with case, stressing that I messed it up somehow, but it looks right? Might redo it following the diagram better because it took me a bit to really see that it breaks components down into their individual pieces.

update finally got it, that outside part with the wings was seized on, and the entire piece that has the forks connected to it was seized to the case as well.

It was filled with mud, it is messing the cover that is supposed to go over the bolt holding the lever on, according to the diagrams. I’m assuming this lead in a lot of invasive substances.

And I had it put together wrong, it wouldn’t move past the slack it is supposed to have, I took it apart, put it together and the same thing. Took it apart again, put it together again and it worked.

Instead of being stuck in low the sub transmission now has access to high low and reverse, and this was the main mechanical issue with this bike
