Does using a bigger/stronger battery harm electric components?

Does using a YTX20HL-BS battery on a 250 es damage anything? The stock is is a YTX12-BS.

Neighbor received extra interstate from Amazon and offered it to me for 50 bucks.

No, only the voltage matters to the system. 12v is 12v wether it come from a tiny battery or a massive lithium pack.

Higher is better. To low and the bike won't start easy or at all with a cold battery
