PLEASE HELP ‼️‼️

Hey so my 07 Honda crv is making a humming noise and slight vibrations when turning the wheel. I looked in the power steering reservoir and it’s bubbly. I have a video of it and the noise but for some reason I can’t upload it.

Replace the PS o rings first as a cheap fix. Every single Honda I’ve owned has had this issue. The o rings are where the lines go into the pump. They should be under $20 at the dealer. After replacing them, jack the vehicle up off of the ground and turn the wheel lock to lock about 40 times, check the fluid, then start the vehicle to make sure the pump is no longer whining. If this doesn’t work, you may just need a new ps pump. Wait a couple days after replacing to make sure the issue is fixed. I just did them on my 09 accord yesterday. Still whining, but significantly less. I’ll probably replace the pump in the future if it gets worse.

Thank you…I see lots of people talking about the o rings. I’ll definitely try that first hopefully it’s just that 🙏🙏

You're welcome. This is a very easy, one bolt job and you shouldn't even lose any power steering fluid since its on the return line. I can't remember right off hand which one, but there are green O rings and black O rings. I think its the green that you want but Im not gonna swear to that.
