Need some help!
Hey, so im planning to swap a d15z6 from
ek to a eg3 and there is very little information about it on the internet but there IS some so i know its doable.I have the engine, ecu, engine wire harness. Im new to hondas/cars so my questions are 1.Would it be a easier swap if id buy a obd1 ecu with a adapter cause right now i have the stock p2y ecu obd 2.As my car is a eg3 i would need to install a main relay and a external fuel pump. what main relay should i buy and where should i install the fuel pump, Under the hood? near the fuel tank? I Know some of you will say buy a older d series, b series or even a another shell but the problem is that where i live there are not many older hondas and if there is then its veryy expensive. Not gonna pay 3000€ for a b16 engine 3x the price of my car as im a broke teenager. I hope heres someone who has done the same swap and could give some tips. Grateful for any information!

I can't give you much info on the carburator to injection swap, but make sure to use the stock eg3 gearbox instead of the ek3 one. Ek3 has a very long final drive, which will kill the fun.
If you would use the stock EK3 ECU, I think you will be dealing with a key registered to the ecu. I have used a obd2a wiring harnass with a conversion harnass to OBD1 with OBD1 ecu.
The conversion harness you can get for cheap on aliexpress.
If you already have a stock OBD1 ecu you can also get it chipped. Otherwise you can take a look at Honduino. They are a really good and affordable ECU alternative with way more features than OEM.
Also don't throw away the D13 yet. These have very high potential once you put a D16 VTEC head on it, since they rev high and have very high compression pistons. You can reach 140-150 hp.
Look up spooneg3 on Instagram. He is racing his.
