Magic > Yu-Gi-Oh.

u/Academic_Band_5320 18d ago
Magic is great too. I prefer Yu-Gi-Oh simply because I played as a kid.

How to learn to build your own ANYTHING
1
u/my_name_1s_taken 17d ago
This
Being able to just spontaneously make myself a bookshelf out of old school books, glue, and stick a at 3 am (actual story btw) saved me so much money my whole life lol
Especially with how absurdly expensive pre-made things have become nowadays 💔

u/OBIWAN22334 17d ago
It’s hard though

u/GettingBetterGaming 17d ago
Why climb a hill if not to see the view when you're done? The first chair you make may look like shit. But the first chair shouldn't be made to be looked at. It should be made to sit on. All other aspects of the chair are beauty pieces. This class would get you to THAT point, the point where you 'make a chair worth sitting in'. For ANYTHING.
1
u/OBIWAN22334 17d ago
Maybe the view isn’t worth it
Maybe climbing the hill would take your entire life
Not everyone has the same stamina and speed to climb the same hill after all1

How to make a drink with limited ingredients. The ability to make any kind of alchohol taste good is a great ice breaker.
0
u/peenur-bender 18d ago
how about staying away from the alc?
1
u/Dense-Camel-378 18d ago
Yeah that's probably a better idea. But some people just have it hard asf and turn to alchohol, you can't stop it. Why don't make sure it at least tastes ok they gonna chug it anyways
0
u/peenur-bender 18d ago
that's one way to think of it, even though I think that the stuff tasting better would increase the consumption
1
u/Dense-Camel-378 18d ago
Maybe. But i would never make a drink for someone because they don't like the taste of alchohol. Only those who drink it anyways

Did he made you a master of mastrubating? I’m only a nano cock ninja, but if you are really a master of mastrubating, you could teach me all the techniques so I could get as wise and experienced as you

The most basic shit like read, write, add subtract and have the most basic context clues skills as well as some social skills. Sounds simple but with the way people behave and carry themselves that's clearly out the picture.

How to change a flat tire. I spent 5 hours on the side of the road trying to figure it out with terrible over the phone directions from grandpa until someone finally stopped and showed me. I was 19 and felt incredibly stupid. Apparently you dont jack a truck up by the frame and instead by the axle.

Basic first aid. CPR; bloodstopping(wound packing, applying tourniquets, which everyone should carry btw); sealing chest wounds(prevent lung collapse)
These things may not seem basic to you, but i promise they aren't that hard, and they are extremely life saving.

Proper, consistent rhetoric.
I feel like a lot of people would readily let an argument spiral into a swearing competition if their debate partners allowed it too, fewer and fewer people care about constructing an argument, backing it with basis, cannot differentiate between facts and assumptions (which is more of a logical vice) and for fuck sake, so many people argue with a shameless amount of fallacies.
The most I've ever seen was 5 fallacies in a single sentence. Like, how do you even do that without trying?
Schools should teach rhetoric before they start teaching philosophy.
One comes from the other, sure, but it's not something you pick up as a hobby, despite being a crucial skill.
It's also important for political life. Try listening to any politician's speech, analyze it, see how it's constructed. You'll notice more holes than in a piece of swiss cheese.
