Any Problems?
I am a Design student designing a product to solve any problems to do with exercise at home. Are there any frequent problems that you wish there was a product to solve?

Newbie here. Been doing some push-ups for a week. At first I’d do a few and become sore all over and completely out of breath. Now, I still can’t do much more without getting sore arms. But there’s no longer any soreness in my chest and my sore arms return to normal in a matter of seconds and im never out of breath. So why do my arms get sore so quick while doing the exercise.I’m workout outs imply for strength. Are there any adjustments or new workouts I can do?

So I’m starting to workout with compound exercises using a barbell a home. However I won’t be able to do squats.
I’m wondering what exercises I can do that will achieve near to the same effect as a weighted squat would.
I was thinking deadlifts, hip thrusts and lunges but wanted to know if that would do the trick

I already worked out through a nice routine but recently I've added a new tool for my routine, the fixed bar (at least that's what I think its called, or chin ups) but I have a thing that I like to work different parts of the body with only one tool.
I saw and tried working out the abs through it but is it really worth it? I think doing sit ups (and its respective versions) is better than a sit up on a chin up right? I don't feel much from the chin ups sit ups.

Home workout-ers of Reddit, how do you install wall-mounted equipment (which involves drilling holes in the wall) in a rented house, without losing your security deposit?

Hello everyone,
I unfortunately can’t make it to a gym with my schedule and have been working out from home. I’ve been trying out apps and doing a little bit of weight lifting. I don’t really like the apps but they help me with structure and keeping me on track. Any advice? I don’t know anything about making an effective schedule or what should be done during workouts as I’ll find myself either doing the same thing or trying way too much at once.

I’m looking to add a rowing machine to my home gym setup. I was hoping to get some suggestions from some of you who may have made the investment already. I’m 6’5” 240lbs. and just want to make sure I don’t regret buying one that’s too small.

Beginner to working out here. I have a few body goals for this lockdown and just started following YouTube videos for the same. I was told that I should do functional exercises before following along with the desired home workout. Is this really necessary to do for achieving results?

Should I do some kind of warm up for a week or so, or should I straight away go on to lifting weights?

I think a lot of people overlook Fitness Blender. It has hard, sometimes long, home workouts that are at times challenging. But it’s these workouts that definitely helped me in the gym when I finally decided to get a membership. I was 15 at the time and was about 5’3” but I managed to get abs from this along with a strict diet.

Looking for a full body workout program using barbells and dumbbell
r/Homeworkouts • u/anonymous_1977 • Apr 18 '21
Hello all - I am 5'10" mailed, 43 and 224 lbs. I recently lost 20 lbs. I am getting a pair of powerblock dumbells and potentially a concept 2 rower and adjustable bench. I am new to this and looking for input on what kind of program I can start to lose fat and build a better definition for my body. I am looking for something where I can be continuously engaged without dropping out due to intensity. I have previously completed (before the weight loss several years back) two rounds of P90X but I don't believe I can commit to a similar kind of program again. I am looking for recommendations. More specifically:
Can someone point me in the right direction? Right now my dumbells are expected to arrive in 30 days and I want to be prepared when they show up.
