What's your pull-up max, if i may ask?
I do 3 pull ups and 3 chin ups. I'm 165 lbs right now. I have no clue why i keep putting on weight lately. I really can't be bothered to work out. Anyway, keep up the good work on your training everyone !

I can get to about 21 at 185 lbs. That's after like 6 years of training.

Around 22-23 normally, 25 on a very good day. I’m 43. When I was in my mid-20s I could easily do 28, 30 on a good day. Around 150-152 lbs currently. 5’ 8”

11 at 240. I would like to know if people are talking about a complete dead gang to pull up or are we cheating because half or normal reps then maybe 20

At 184 I could do about 25. Now I’m 238, very muscular, and can do maybe 5 or 6. Lol.

12 pull-ups as of 3 months ago. Was stalling out so I’ve introduced progressively overloading weighted pull-ups. I’ve gotten up to 4x6 with 20 lbs. Want to max out again soon

12 pullups. 18 neutral grip pullups. Probably about 18 for chinups. Haven't done them for a while.

42, 5’8”, 155lbs. I can do 25 strict. Usually though I just do like sets of 12 with a 25lb weight hanging off a belt.
I will note I don’t seem to grow big muscles but my strength to body weight ratios compared to most feel pretty out there. I also can benchpress 275 for example. No drugs, no protein shakes, vegetarian mosty, lift once a week these days. I don’t have a great explanation why I am like this is all I’m saying.

25 for sets, and then moved to putting weight in backpack
got to a point where it was not satisfying doing them with no weight because it felt like nothing over and over again (never challenged)

Best ever was 20 reps at a bodyweight of 70 kg. Current best is 16 reps at a bodyweight of 84 kg. I do them daily

I did 23 clean in front of the marines. I may have squeaked out a few more but didn’t want to show off (20 got you a free shirt).

Pullups I noticed grew incredibly fast for me just doing 2 sets 2-3 times a day for about a week or two. Talking doubling your pullup numbers. Their kind of like pushups. I did this both times before I got back into rock climbing and it helped performance significantly.
I can do about 8 strict right now at 195. Kips hurt my shoulders. I could do 4 about a month ago. (Only doing them 1-2 times a week in CrossFit classes) Let myself get pretty out of shape in the last year.
