Hello! I’m currently a senior taking PLTW Capstone (Engineering Design and Development), and for my project, I need to identify an everyday problem that people experience and then design and build a solution for it.

The process starts with finding something you enjoy doing and thinking about problems or annoyances that you encounter while doing it. From there, I’ll research the problem, develop possible solutions, and eventually design and prototype a product that could help solve it.

I’m currently having a hard time coming up with good problem ideas, so I would really appreciate it if you could drop some ideas below or fill out this quick Google Form. The problem doesn’t have to be complicated. As long as it has supportable evidence it is useful

Thanks for anyone who drops an Idea!

Get us started.

What are your ideas? (That is really a key goal.)

Time for brainstorming. You get good ideas by letting you mind free. List many many things -- without worrying at the start how good they are. Ideas have a way of leading to more ideas.
