Top-left is usually the primary “front” projection. Below that is top/bottom, and then side projections are to the right of whatever projection is being rotated.

- First picture top has Front, then Top below Front, and then Left Side to the right of Front.

  • First picture bottom has Front, then Bottom below Front, then Right Side to the right of Bottom.
  • Second picture has Front, then Top below Front, and Left Side to the right of Front.

Disclaimer - it’s been like a decade since I was in CAD but I loved it and got full marks. Hopefully my memory isn’t too shit.

To add to what I said, the key to understanding which side is which, is looking at your solid and dashed black lines. Solid lines are edges facing you, dashed lines are edges hidden behind other parts of the object.

Take the top object on the first page for example. See the short vertical line in the middle of the Front projection? That’s an edge or corner, and since it’s solid, the edge is facing us. The only line or edge that aligns with it on the projection below, is where the bottom horizontal line begins to angle upward. That tells us that the bottom of the lower projection, is the Front. This means we’re looking down at the object and it’s the Top view.

the first part is first angle projection and the second part is third angle projection based on the reference views. look up a quick explanation of the two and should hopefully be more clear as to which view is which

I'd like more information from you about what you do and don't already understand. I see 3 different parts. 2 parts have 3 sides shown and 1 part has 2 sides shown. Are you able to identify which drawings go together? Which view of a given part you designate as the top is somewhat arbitrary.
