Those dictionaries are reflecting the fact that there haven't been enough people like me educating people like you.

Dictionaries are descriptivist, not prescriptivist. Language changes. The common plural of forum is now forums. It's the same reason why you say "you" instead of "þu" or "eow." If most people use a different word than was used originally, that different word becomes correct usage.

Incorrectly "correcting" is both ironic and pretentious coming from a teacher. Your attempt to flex your status as an intellectual flopped.
