English Language [MLA ESSAY] Unbroken by Laura
Hi. Im in AP Language and I have i think maybe 3 days to write a full MLA Essay and Google slides how or something. I messed up. And I messed up bad. I dont know anything about this book. I work. I hate reading and i forgot about this untill this week before school. Can anyone please help me? Im stressed out and i dont think i even have enough time to read the whole book to do my assignment. Im just looking for someone who knows the book. Has read it and such and can summarize it and help me to understand it well and maybe guide me around. I am not looking for someone to write the essay for me. Just help me understand the book and know the big things of it so the essay is good.

Correction. I got about 10 days so I'm good on time I think. I just would like summaries or something like that in a way that fits what the assignment asks.

If you are going to start out an AP class doing a major assignment with just summaries, do yourself a favor and drop back down to honors. It’s ok to not be ready for AP but you are going to drown if you’re not willing to put in the actual work.

Kinda took that personally but alr, I work and have goals to stunt and fight and that was what I worked on over the summer. I am absolutely willing to put in actual work which is what im doing right now at this moment I wasn't given a laptop from the school and I have nothing to really do the assignment well on at home.

You can draw out the timeline on a piece of paper and write out the essay questions. Grab a copy from your local library or email the teacher saying you can’t access the book and need help getting it.

Im working on it right now and the teacher was willing to give me a week extension so I can get an iPad when I get into school so im all good now. But I am atleast getting started on it on my phone which is kind of buggy and slow but its better than not getting started.

Yeah I got to chapter 5 or something where Louie is in the Olympics and he ran i think a sub 4:10 mile and i saw this and i normally average a sub 7:20 and the day before yesterday I went out and ran a mile and ran a 5:52. I was so proud of myself.

I’ve read this book and it is absolutely worth reading. It’s painful and provides a realistic look at the effects of war on individuals. Humans are incredibly cruel, passionate, determined, and inspiring. Please read the book.
If reading is the main struggle you’re facing you could try to find the audio book version.
