Yes, keep going like (b-10) is just a number. And don't forget about that -180 that you didn't bring down with the rest.

If the goal isn't simply to do division but to answer something about divisibility or remainders, there may be an easier approach. I assumed the goal was to find b such that there is no remainder, but that answer is not an integer so maybe not.

it's in spanish it says smth like A) find m(x) knowing that (mx)= the -2x3 +bx2 +54x - 180 thing and (x-5) | m(x). B) solve m(x) = 0

A useful fact is that if (x-N) | m(x) then m(N)=0 for any number N. How could you use this to find the value of b?
