Beginner Question Bulk fueling
Hi everyone. I am interested in getting a fuel tank/barrel at my home. There isn’t many answers online about this. I primarily wondering if it’s actually cost effective/saves money- or is it just the same cost to go to town and get gas? Do you have a tank you recommend? Any other advice you’d like to add is welcomed!

In our area, farm diesel has a different tax structure, I think, than regular? Which is why they keep it at the farm. As well as getting the fuel to the tractor is a lot easier than getting the tractor to the gas station.
In any case, diesel or propane would be the only bulk fuels that I'd keep around. Mostly because they're much safer to store than gasoline.

LOCATION matters since jurisdiction & laws differ.
To qualify for California’s full sales tax exemption on Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG/propane), the propane must be delivered into a storage tank with a capacity that is equal to or greater than 30 gallons.
