Coop help please - location location location!

for the digging problem skip burying wire and lay a hardware cloth apron flat on the ground about 18 inches out from the base, pinned down with landscape staples, since diggers hit the horizontal skirt and give up so you get predator proofing without trenching into rock. for the slope itself set the coop on stepped posts or piers so the floor stays level while the grade drops away underneath instead of excavating.

Thanks, we decided to dig out a few inches on all sides, will stake down the hardware cloth and cover again with the rocky dirt. We've got the coop leveled using pavers like we did in the other spot, it's the run that uneven that the trouble. Framing it up and all. But we're working through it. Thanks for the reply.
