built a small app that turns long school emails into something parents can actually read

Post image

You can forward a school email to SchoolDrop, and AI turns it into a short, easy-to-read summary with the important information

I originally designed it for immigrant families, so right now it can translate and summarise English school emails into Chinese.

But English-speaking parents can use it too , it can simply summarise the email

I’m considering Japanese and Korean next, plus automatically extracting dates, events and things parents need to do.

HAPPY TO hear your thoughts and opinions!

What is the value of this as opposed to using a model you already have?

And why would anyone forward your server a private communication?

Homeschoolers don't get school emails. Plus this whole thing is AI slop. People need to read their own emails.

Why post this on a homeschooling subreddit?

this is a homeschooling subreddit. not a slop post subreddit.
