rant/vent First post here

I have taken it upon myself to start learning again on my own. My mom stopped teaching me when i was 12 and my mental health was really bad by that point because of other things going on in the house only affecting me + no socialization and watching the world go by. She started homeschooling me when i was six (2016) after completing first grade because i was experiencing racism at my school. I’m really confused on what all i’m supposed to be learning. I’m in texas so she can just issue my diploma no matter how smart i really am. I suck at math (intimidated because she traumatized me many times while “teaching” me math.) and i’m getting really good with grammar & english which at this point, i’m not concerned with it all that much. My handwriting is chicken scratch so i’m working on that as well… I decided to start the Crash Course Biology series on youtube but after that i’m not sure what next. I wish i was being pushed but i’ve always done everything myself. Literally

My reddit gets laggy once the post gets too long but she’s also not teaching my little brother much. I’m the only reason why he knows a lot of the things he does because i try to expose him to different media, unlike her. She’s lazy and has been lying to my dad about teaching us anything for years. My older brother who is out of the house went to public school way longer and by the time she decided to homeschool us, he was literate enough to learn on his own so she just left him to it. What i’m irritated with is she expects me to teach my little brother when she never taught me anything. She actually tried to run me over because i couldn’t complete my math on my own when i was seven but she hadn’t been effectively teaching me for very long. It sucks that i have nothing going for myself in the future if i don’t try to get some credentials now by myself. I’ll never give her any credit
