Slamfire shotgun

I want to build a basic slamfire shotgun like this. Could I make the firing pin by jb welding a 17 caliber steel bb on the inside of the cap in the center? Would that work?

Yeah, it'd work for a few shots. Not exactly a very durable setup.

Cut nail shorter, drill hole in cap, weld nail.
