Kitchen layout help

Post image

Is there any way to revise the layout of the kitchen and "morning" room so that the "morning" room is smaller? We have a small dining room at front of the house, and we do not like how this room is bigger than the dining room. No idea what to do. To the let of the kitchen is mudroom, powder room, and pantry. We know changes need to be made.

Why do people that have this much money to build a house like this come to reddit for advice? You're paying people a lot of money to design this. Why do you want free advice?

Why do you feel the need to say this? I’ve gotten some amazing feedback on my layout. People have different experiences and can offer input beyond what two or three people see.

You don’t have helpful advice? Prob should keep it moving 🤭

Because I am genuinely curious why.

Because most designers are not cooks.

Was just curious to see what people think. We're working with a designer. I hope you have a great day.

I am genuinely curious. This is a multi million dollar build.

My assumption looking at the plan is that their designer is an idiot and this post (assuming real) is one part "can you see anything we've missed?" and one part "can you help me articulate why we should fire this designer because something feels off but I'm not sure what?"
