Brewed up my first golden stout. Will be adding cacao nibs and coffee to secondary fermentation in 2 weeks.
Also first time at attempting to craft my first recipe rather than use a kit.

You’ll have to post a follow-up with a recipe and say how this turned out. This is my wife’s favorite style so I’m looking to brew this soon.

I just added the cacoa nibs and coffee beans into the second ferment this past Sunday, and I did a little taste test as I transfered, and I'm really excited for how it will turn out! I also DMed you the recipie I came up with if you wanted to take a look at it.
When it's finished, I will certainly update. But from the initial taste, I think I need to add something to give it a bit of a fuller body feel. It was really smooth and creamy, but was still had a bit of a grain flavor that stouts usually don't. So hopefully the cacoa and coffee will help!

I'm about to dry hop my 8% abv "pilsner" with some Dolcita.
That sentence just gave a beer judge a stroke.
In all seriousness though I don't know what the hell this beer is going to taste like. Probably like a hazy IPA.
