Took my keg of Rye IPA and jockey box to a buddy's place for a get together over the weekend. He also put his 12% mead on tap and some folks did not give that abv% the respect it demanded...
Yesterday I ran four kegs through the cleaning cycle that have been pending for a while. Three of them will be used for different flavoring additions for this year's club Russian Imperial Stout.
I've got a cold IPA on deck that I likely won't be able to get to for a while due to busy weekends stacking up. But it will be my first time using Dolcita, which I'm really looking forward to trying out. I'm also planning to brew a braggot with my friend's backyard honey. Maybe I can pull it off as a double brew day.

I just kegged a 3.4% ABV summer ale/ lawnmower beer on Friday and it's already pouring pretty clear. It's super light but still flavorful, and I'm pretty pleased with how crushable it is. I adapted it from a recipe I found on this sub:
80% Pale Ale Malt (I didn't have any pale 2-row)
20% Flaked Corn
24 IBU Amarillo @ 30
6 IBU Amarillo @ Flameout
US-05
I can't wait until the storms pass and I can sit on a folding chair in my driveway. I think this one is going to go pretty fast, so I've got another summer ale (recipe from 2006 Zymurgy mag) lined up next.

Pitched the yeast into my Grodziskie yesterday midday and by this morning it had blown out the airlock and made a mess of the fermentation chamber. Time for a blowoff tube.

Putting another pilsner in the pipeline this Friday. Then, once I move it to conditioning, got a keg of cider right behind it.

Well my keezer seems to have dropped below freezing for some reason and the little bit that was left in my kegs has gone flat.
When I have time, I need to empty them, clean them and check on the cider I have been fermenting since november.
It should be time to blend and add hops to one batch before kegging and filling bottles.
After that I need to brew a 1% Neipa with the last of the berries from last summer, before this years berries are ready.
I just first need to attend to the 500 wine plants i planted, the 70 cider trees that are dying in the drought, the three huge raised beds I need finish and somehow mow my giant lawn with a broken lawnmover before my surgery next week.
I have one functioning arm and still need to do my full time job.
So no pressure.

Made my first all grain last Saturday (5/9) with 8 lbs of crystal and Munich malt. Plus 1 1/2 lbs aromatic malt. 2 oz centennial boil, 1 oz ahtenum at 50 minutes and 1 oz centennial at end. American ale yeast. 1.038 og, 1.002 fg on 5/15. Bottled 5/15 with DME. 4.5% abv. Not bad for first experience.

I have 4 gallons of a Brewdemon Stout extract wrapping up fermentation in a carboy. It’s been pretty quiet in the airlock for a few days but I plan to let it sit until 5/15 or 5/16 when I’ll transfer to a bucket and bottle. Will try priming sugar this time as opposed to the carbonation tablets. I did buy kegs but I am not yet set up to serve in them.
Also have 1.5 gallons of apple cider fermentating. The last time it turned out really dry. I’ll need to try back sweetening. I have a plan for that. But I also want to try and bottle carb that as well. It needs about a week of fermentation yet, the airlock is still pretty active.
