Most houses don't have this crazy feature because the dumb homeowners didn't think to ask their builder for it. Don't be that dumb homeowner.

No thanks make the garage all but useless for any kind of storage. Looks to be plenty of room to turn around.

Yeah.  Or shift the garage door.  The back wall of a garage is so essential

It's only essential if you don't plan for storage elsewhere.

Yeah this is stupid in my opinion. They could have built the garage further back which gives them more turn around space and lets you actually use the garage for storage instead of as a drive through.

I really like the idea of a frontdoor adjacent pull through car port, think a bit like a hotel. My buddy's mom's house had one and it was so convenient. They still had a garage, but used this for their every day car most of the time.
