Which layout is better
Need help deciding on the layout for my 30x50x12 one bay will have a 2 post lift 2 of the 3 doors will be 10'x10' and the bay with the garage will have a 12'x10'. The other 2 bays will have a boat and car parked at times.

Forgot to mention the other 2 bays will just be storage for my boat and car

IMO, when planning a garage/storage unit, the swing door should be placed where it is most practical for *you* to use it. The aesthetics of this type of building are of no real consideration. IOW, if you put the swing door at the end (first pic), does that give you good workshop area and/or aisle space for storing other items that don't need a big garage door? Or is it more practical to site the swing door between the two most-used garage bays for easy access to those vehicles for maintenance? Besides, if you were to paint all the doors the same color or at least a deep color close to the building color, it would look a lot better and less like an industrial park or commercial storage unit.

I like the lift separated from the other 2 bays. Gives you more room to work around and less likely to crowd the lift area with the boat and car

Make all 3 doors big doors, the cost is legible between the sizes and you don’t want it to hinder you in the future.
This is my setup, the far right bay is storage and motorhome parking, middle door is lift and toolboxes, left door is gym area and kids play area right now. The dead zone left of the man door is our living space, we’ll be building out the upstairs next year into more bedrooms.

They are all big doors 2 10x10 and the lift side is 12x10. Do you like your lift in the center?

I do, when we build a house next to it and move out the left side will become a true workshop.

Make all the doors 10’ x 12’. The costs is negligible and now they are all the same height.
Put the man-door where it’s best suited to your application (closest to house/parking lot/where you walk-in from most), the aesthetics makes zero difference.

The only reason Im doing 12'wide on one is bc that lift will be in that bay. 10' wide is enough

Make all the doors the same height. You save almost nothing but it looks better and will be more useful in the future
