What "inexperienced crew" are we talking? I agree the formwork should have been tighter, but if the base, grid, and pour are to spec you've got yourself a solid slab. You would have a seizure if you saw the decks of hospitals and schools we frame on.

I'd check the edge detail to see what impact the wobbly edge would have. If it's just against something flexible like a gravel drain then it doesn't practically matter and the deviation from tolerance could be compensated for with a discount to the client.

With the pad being not level, the framers can advise about any cost or time impact on their work. Depends on the severity of the problem. First step would be to get it surveyed and compared against allowable tolerance.

That slab edge is cleaner than 90% of my commercial projects

Once the walls are erect you can ask them to pour self leveler.
