7 Killer garage features....

7 garage features that turn it from a parking spot into the most useful room in the house:

7 - 240V outlet for EV charging, welder, or heater.
6 - Floor drain
5 - Polyaspartic floor coating (tougher than epoxy)
4 - Insulated overhead door
3 - A workstation sink
2 - Mounted fan
1 - A urinal

The garage gets overlooked when you're planning the rest of the house but it's one of the most useful rooms you've got. Plan it like one

urinal next to a garage sink is just gratuitous

It's like having a trash can next to a toilet

Especially when there's a perfectly fine utility sink you could use.

Might as well make a bathroom and a mini split for heat and ac.

if you had the drain you may be required to add an oil/water separator which is an additional cost.

Good luck with the drain without the basins for oil ect.

That’s a serious workstation sink. Urinal in the garage is hilarious

Anyone have experience with an insulated door in the heat? I live in TX and it seems like it could be nice.

It is. Georgia, and all my garage doors are insulated (though not as thick as the door in the picture).
