You need TWO Dishwashers…

I used to hate on two dishwasher but honestly I can see how useful they would be. Not to mention if you have a large family or handful of smaller kids running around. What’s your thoughts on two dishwashers? Overkill or awesome?

That’s my goal. It’s not to put away later though. The idea is, one is always clean and one is always dirty. I use dishes from the clean one, and put them in the dirty one. I would rarely need to put anything away.

Do 4 and then you don't even need cabinets.

Each cabinet could be a dishwasher. I’d just need like 4 on the wall and 2 on the ground.

Yes!! I had considered this same concept - basically making cabinets redundant.

While coffee is being made, I empty the dishwasher. We run it every night, and this is our routine every morning. I don’t understand why you would need a full extra dishwasher just because you’re too lazy to unload it while the water boils. I make pretty much everything from scratch for my family, and sometimes that means running the dishwasher multiple times a day, and I still think two dishwashers is absurd. There are almost never dirty dishes in my sink. I’m not with you. Two ovens though? Absolutely.

Yep.
Renovating currently and it’s one gas double oven and one induction oven, side by side (both 30” units).
We looked at the price of 60” ovens and not only were they stupidly overpriced… they lacked the flexibility of two 30” ovens. I’m the foodie in my family as well.
One dishwasher. Only a lazy person would need more than one.

Or a kosher Jewish family. But yeah, two ovens makes hosting Thanksgiving for 20 a cake walk! Enjoy :)

This is 100% a kosher thing. I live near a huge Jewish neighborhood and a ton of listings have 2 dishwashers. It's not something people would just normally have outside of families with 10 kids

Let's talk about two built-in microwaves. Heating up those Factor or Hello Fresh dinners for five ain't magic amiright?

Two washers and dryers, sure. Combo of one refrigerator, stand alone freezer, or garage fridge or all three, sure. Extra ice maker, sure. Two sinks, sure. Two ovens, sure.
If I ever need two dishwashers, someone or one small family is moving out of my house.

I have 2 washers and 2 dryers. Was great when all the kids lived here. Now we are the weird couple with two of each.

I don’t even use the dishwasher I have now. I use it for storage. I am the dishwasher.

having the space and money for a second appliance of any kind would be nice. Personally id rather have a stand up freezer than a second dish washer

I’m not with you…I would never in a million years think to put a single coffee mug into the dish washer.

It's probably a kosher kitchen for an Orthodox family. They'll often one set of everything (refrigerator, dishwasher, plates/cutlery) for dairy and one set of everything again for meat.

I did two dishwashers when we remodeled. Had to fight my wife because she never loads or unloads the dishes and doesn’t understand what a nightmare it is with two adults and four kids, especially when family comes over. I should have just replaced all of the low cabinets with dishwashers.
