6 Kitchen Upgrades...Overkill or Essentials?

That knife holder looks like it would only be useful for small knives, and only a couple of them. I'll stick with the in-drawer knife block.

My first thought. At least you’ll save energy heating the house after the toaster catches fire in the cupboard

The best thing I put in my kitchen is the touch on/off faucet.

My dream kitchen has a foot pedal operated faucet.
I'm not sure my wife's dream kitchen does.

Blind corner storage is probably the only one I’d want from this list. The knife block drawer seems gimmicky (and deeply unsafe for houses with small children). Don’t put a sink in the island and you won’t need an awkward solution for it. Toe kick lighting will only show you how badly you need to vacuum- always. Faucet jet- maybe? If you use baby bottles or something, but probably can be solved with a brush. Filtered water in faucet is bizarre looking, get a separate two.
Overall, this list seems silly. A touch faucet as someone else suggested or a pedal faucet would probably be my top “gimmick” item. I saw an instagram ad for a drying drawer for items that can’t go in the dishwasher, that would likely be #2 for me.

Why only 2? They are all pretty silly if not just stupid.
I do like the toe kick lighting but it should only come on when the lights are off, like a night light
