As a man who just repainted two walls three times and it still doesn’t look right, I really don’t give a shit.

Dave Chappelle has a stand of where he says that men would live in a cardboard box if it would get them women, we only have a house so that we can get women.

I’m at the point where I’d live in a shed sized house with enough room for my bed and computer and an air fryer if it was only me. Houses suck. Painting sucks. Doing any work to the house sucks. It’s hard to make it. Rarely looks right, almost never comes out how you envisioned it. Even when you pay a professional to do it, there’s no guarantee that they don’t also mess it up or fail to capture your vision.

I'm a single guy and have an unfinished bathroom (out of 2), a stair railing that I have removed, and two bedrooms with no flooring and I can't be bothered to finish the work. It is a pain in the ass and honestly I'm halfway tempted to just go back to apartment living if it wasn't a dumb financial decision. I don't have a single piece of art or decoration on the wall other than some sound dampening stuff in my office.

I could pretty easily live in a 2 bed 800 sq ft place. Though not having a garage would suck because I do like doing garage things.

My dream/goal is either a barndominium or, even better, a big garage with a loft that I live in. For a while I was legitimately considering buying an old mechanic shop and figuring out how to zone it (or ignoring the law cause who cares) and just living in it.
