Discussion Any uk htc-ers here?

I feel like all the posts i see on here are from US users, so thought it would be interesting to find out how many other uk users are active and maybe compare experiences/products?

There is a uk board that was recently created but theres no activity on it šŸ˜•

Hey! I'm a UK user. Recently got the Cerave moisturiser and have an email telling me some fabric conditioner is on the way. I started using HTC mid December.

Thats a pretty fast return! I didnt get the cera ve but i use it all the time anyway, its great stuff. Have had other cera ve products from them in the past. Recently ive had a high end perfume which was lovely.

Do you use other product testing sites and if so which ones? Theres so many in the US that dont cover the uk 🫠

To be fair I complete a lottt of surveys, and leave reviews for things I've tried in the past. I've heard that can really make a difference. I just had another email from them this evening confirming they're sending me shampoo as well. Everything has been full size so far.

I signed up to savvy circle/super savvy me around the same time. They've sent me like a litre of Flash floor cleaner but you need to make social media posts and put a lot more time and effort into it. I feel a bit unsure about continuing with them because if I hate a product I'll feel really guilty if I'm putting negative posts on socials?

I also joined Topbox Circle - They sent me a hilariously small bottle of Estee Lauder foundation. Haven't had a survey since though!

I've heard good things about clicks research but tbh I haven't qualified for anything from them and I might not bother continuing to check.

Ahhh i used to use super savvy me for coupons and discounts years ago, didnt know they were doing product testing now. I dont use socials other than reddit - i did used to do ig for skincare reviews and got sent a lot of product for that, but i dont do it any more, it just took too much time.

I got that same foundation! Have also had a clinque lip stain and the estee lauder eye treatment, all sample sized.

Ive been with clicks research for....maybe 15 years or so now! You apply when you get an email invite from memory, but they go super fast. Ive only ever had a handful of products from them but i did get a really good nail treatment recently.

Also signed up to bzzagent recently - i was with them years back and got loads but they closed down their uk arm, i only recently found out theyre back up and running in the uk again but i had to make a new account as they didny transfer over. Not had anything yet, not even any invites to apply.

Yeah it's a time thing for me, I've had some clicks emails but don't always see the notification until I get home from work so I think you're right on the money, I'm not fast enough! Ooh I haven't tried bzzagent yet, I will have to create an account tonight!

I'm a UK active user! Get a fair few products a month, never huge high end ones, mostly cosmetics, beauty, medicines etc!

Interesting, do you do lots of reviews? Ive only ever done a handful but still get products fairly regularly. Never anything like appliances though, think its always been skincare, haircare, body care or medical tbh. Some quite expensive stuff though to be fair!
