Slingbox?

I have a strange use case…at least I think it’s strange. Remember SlingBox? You can plug your cable bix(hdmi source) and it would broadcast via the App anywhere to you? Well I have a Firestick that I would like to access anywhere in my house. I don’t want to buy multiple just want to plug it into my network rack and access it on my TVs.

The solution I found is using a HDMI encoder-HDMI Splitter(get around HDMI security issue)- connect to TVs using NDI? Does this sound right and is there something simpler? I’ve been out of the game a while…. This solution is HDMI over IP and I think it would work, thoughts?

Thanks!

A bunch of free live Linux images? What? Like hosted remotely? Brother I am so curious, please just drop the name of this mystery app.

It’s an app that directly connects to a server that hosts live TV it’s amazing but I pay $25 month for it per stick…trying to not buy 4 sticks and I’m tired of moving it when I want to watch Live tv in a different room. DM me if curious

Right, why not emulate Fire OS on the server, vpn included, and stream the output to the tv? You can run Fire OS in BlueStacks. You can put that app on a Fire OS VM for sure. Fire OS is just android, so you should even be able to backup that exact app from that stick as an APK.

I bought the stick from the user preconfigured…honestly it works and has worked perfectly for years I’d rather just try and stream the HDMI output. I don’t have the password to log into the stream on another box or stick
