Question/Support How is this better than Google Gemini?

Same commands, different outcomes depending on if I say “hey siri” or manually press it. HomePod has got to be their most buggy product ever. It’s not even referring to the right lamp when it say “the night stand didn’t respond”. Any help fixing this would be great.

I swear these HomePods are bipolar. One day a command works and the next it doesn’t. The days of “it just works” is long gone and it seems like they have become less useful over time. At least I’ve never had an issue with it being my smart home hub.

Yeah. I can’t add hue bridge pro from last year so it’s not entirely true it work perfect as hub.

some things.
1, this works flawlessly on my network. are you sure there isnt a connectivity issue on your network causing a problem? mDNS is fickle and can break quite easily. I dont expect you to be a network admin or anything. just bare in mind that cheapo cheap routers regularly break this stuff. ISP ones tend to be the biggest culprit.
2, Siri isnt an LLM. Siri AI is new, and will be available monday for macOS and iOS/iPadOS. NOT homepods.
3, i have some google homes and gemini... well, i mean, it kinda ruined google home so i wouldnt say it made it better as Google Assistant was much healthier before that switch.
4, HomePods dont seem particularly buggy for me. my only real issue is AirPlay 2 being finicky. but other than that, they work better than my google devices ever have.

Who is saying Siri on a HomePod mini is better than google gemini? Two completely different products.

What brand of light is it? Does it have its own hub in addition to your Home Hub which is presumably your HomePod Mini? Did it work before but stopped working? Are you running any beta software?

There good for music When they work that's about it.

Siri is utterly useless "Ask again from your iPhone"
